I work with adults 21 and up, including neurodivergent clients and young professionals. I like working with clients who are internally motivated and already have a general understanding of mental health.

I enjoy leading workshops in my community and speaking publicly on mental health, and I’ve been featured on Spectrum News and on NPR’s Due South.

About me

I’m a part-time therapist, and I make my living day trading. I do therapy because I enjoy it, it gives my life meaning, and I believe it’s something I’m meant to do.

I see clients at my private practice in Raleigh, acapraleigh.com. I prefer in person, but I also offer telehealth. For out-of-state clients, I offer coaching services. If money is a concern, I offer a sliding scale.

I’m a Raleigh native, and I became a therapist after a dream one night. Honestly, I find therapy mysterious. I don’t fully know how or why it works, but I believe it truly helps people, and I’ve stopped trying to understand it.

Outside of sessions, I love motorcycles and house music, and my favorite genre of film is horror. Parapsychology is one of my favorite topics, and I believe we’re living in a simulation of some kind.

I’ve also worked as a video editor on music videos for Mac Miller and Kehlani.
